Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed

Labrador Retriever / Mixed Dog

Nava the Dog needs a home

Do you have a nice bed and some love to give Nava? That’s all he wants! Nava is a handsome 3 year old Lab mix who came to CAWS after Hurricane Harvey. This poor, sweet boy has spent months in shelters and kennels and is now in search of a foster or adoptive home. Nava picked up a unfortunate sickness in Texas that is contagious to other dogs, but not people, cats, or other critters. He does well with other dogs, but is not able to be around them until he finishes treatment. He is great with cats. Nava is also heart worm positive, but will not be able to start treatment for that for a few more months. This kid has been dealt a terrible hand, but he has maintained a great spirit and is friendly and well behaved. He is relaxed and loves to be loved. Nava walks well on leash and appears to be house and crate trained. We are committed to helping Nava get healthy and enjoy his new life here in Utah. Can he crash with you?

All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application
